Analyst-Guidance/Controls/Analyst
Job Location: FAIRFAX, VA
An industry leader in small space and rocket systems has a need for a Guidance and Controls Principal Analyst that will be supporting the Orion program.
Primary duties and responsibilities will be to design control modes, control loops, kalman filters, and other controls related algorithms. Will be involved with the development of C code implementations and testing end product. Will be responsible for the documentation of algorithms and test results. Will have involvement in support vehicle level testing. Will analyze flight data and debug anomalies. Will be running simulations, modifying C, C++ and Matlab codes as appropriate along with developing and analyzing
flight control loops in conjunction with senior staff. Performing monte-carlo analyses and analyses of servo mechanisms.
The right candidate will have an MS in Aerospace or a BSEE with controls focus. Working knowledge of vehicle control system design, analysis and estimation theory
Proficient in implementing algorithms in the C programming language. Working knowledge of C, C++, Matlab and MS office products.
