Analyst-Aerospace/Analyst/FEMAP\NASTRAN
Job Location: FAIRFAX, VA
An industry leader in small Aerospace, rocket and satellite systems has a need for a Principle Aerospace Analyst. In this role you will serve as professional authority in spacecraft dynamics and stress analysis. Will collaborate in preliminary and advanced spacecraft structural studies and prepare portions of engineering proposals. Will be responsible for conceiving and developing solutions to spacecraft analytical, design and test problems. Will analyze and resolve failures in test and serve. Assure continuity of design features from advanced design through contract completion. Write major portion of complex specifications and engineering reports as a result of advance studies, special engineering investigations and similar activities.
You will need to posses either a BS in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred) with 7-9 years experience.
Background in analysis utilizing FEMAP/NASTRAN is required.
