Engineer-Power Plant/Electrical/Performance
Job Location: ORLANDO, FL
Performance Engineer / Project Engineer is now needed for a power plant operation. Candidates will need a BSME or BSEE or BSIE and 5 years experience dealing with turbine power plant operations. Strong analytical background in thermodynamics, understanding the combined cycle heat balance and water balance, power cycle modeling, and frame combustion turbine operations is required. The performance engineer will perform analysis and trending of project operational parameters including heat rate, availability, capacity, reliability and component equipment efficiency. Analyze, evaluate, and trend those power cycle parameters which contribute to overall plant performance in order to identify and improve plant efficiency and minimum performance degradation. Travel is required. Company provides benefits, bonus plan and relocation assistance.
