Manager-Project/Manufacturing/Products
Job Location: WEST HAVEN, CT
PROJECT MANAGER needed for a well respected manufacturing firm in Connecticut. Requires BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education. A PLUS to have a MSEE or PMP ( Project Manager Professional ) certification. Need 5+ years of experience in new product development of electromechanical type products including 3 to 5 years demonstrated successful Project Management and commercial product manufacturing experience. Must have strong English verbal and written communication skills and working knowledge of project management software such as MS Project or equivalent.
Position will manage electromechanical product development efforts across a multidiscipline technical and business team. Will lead development of market products, coordinate projects among multiple companies, develop and manage product development efforts to a project budget, manage the qualification of new products through environmental and regulatory testing, identify and address project risks to meet the product launch dates, and coordinate weekly/daily product meetings.
