Job Location: OXFORD, CT
IMMEDIATE NEED for a MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER Northwest of New Haven, CT. BSME with a minimum of 10 years experience capable of leading project teams and providing direction where needed. Experience in heavy fabrication, manufacturing and application of power transmission products. Must be able to develop designs from detailed customer specifications as well as verbal concepts and sketches using Autocad 3D and Solidworks. Candidate should be able to create original designs and do estimates for costing. Industry equivalents: heavy construction equipment, shipyards, off-road equipment, cranes, heavy industrial manufacturing lines. Candidates with a PE are considered a plus. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a very stable engineering corporation.
