Engineer-Aircraft/Certification
Job Location: MIAMI, FL
IMMEDIATE NEED in the Miami International airport area for 5 ( 4 contract and 1 direct hire) Aircraft Certification Engineers who have a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited college or university and a minimum 3 years related experience. The MUST HAVE items for this position are: staying up to date with professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations as related to the aircraft industry; writing comprehensive reports and procedure manuals; effectively present and respond to internal and external customers. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: research, planning and execution of the FAA certification process for aircraft; perform standard engineering assignments that normally represent a portion of a larger project; selecting engineering techniques to solve problems and make design recommendations; direct preparation of documentation; leadership of small groups of exempt and / or nonexempt personnel. The compensation will be commensurate with your level of expertise and experience. Relocation assistance may be available.
