Operator-Power/Reciprocating/Gas Fueled
Job Location: AKRON, OH
Multinational Energy company is seeking a Maintenance Operator for a gas plant and power generation equipment; with Electrical/mechanical trade or suitable operations background in the following: gas fueled power plant. Experience with reciprocating engines preferred; Ability to Trouble shoot and diagnose Electrical and Mechanical Systems, operate gas plant and power generation pressure equipment; High level of analytical and trouble shooting skills in both gas field and gas plant; Knowledge and understanding of process operations in power generation plants; Proficiency using computers and monitoring equipment to measure, record and make adjustments within operating parameters; Ability to rebuild engines, conduct electrical fault finding and repairs; Experience with health and safety regulations and the safety of others through understanding and implementing workplace health and safety. Excellent written and oral communications is required. A company vehicle is provided.
