A critical power provider located in Orange County, CA is actively searching for a Business Development Manager to lead and direct all UPS service contact sales in the Mountain States and West of the Rockies. Eventually this role will be a lead for developing opportunities throughout the USA. It is necessary to live within daily commutable distance to Anaheim, CA or be willing to relocate at your own expense. This position will require extensive travel.
Responsibilities:
-> Lead and direct all service contract sales regionally and nationally
-> Assist in the implementation of best practices and guidelines to achieve market dominance
-> Promote learning and success in the power solution sales team by providing new leads and direction
-> Contribute to the development of process improvements that will contribute to increased customer satisfaction and growth
-> Develop strategic partners to foster growth
Requirements:
-> A Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in engineering, marketing or a related field
-> 8 or more years of documented experience meeting and surpassing sales goals
-> A proven business prospector with a hunter mentality
-> 5 or more years recent experience selling uninterruptible power systems (UPS) service contracts in the Western USA
-> A Rolodex of UPS user contacts in the region with whom you have interacted
-> An enthusiasm for growing new business on a regional and national level
