A chemical manufacturing client needs an ERP Consultant with experience implementing MS Dynamics GP ( Great Plains ) for a contract assignment lasting at least 6 to 8 months. The Consultant can work mostly from home with some travel to client sites required.
Responsibilities:
-> Use your project management expertise and experience rolling out Enterprise Resource Planning software to work with software vendors, retailers, and the client?s users to determine operational requirements and identify the system capabilities to satisfy those needs
-> Review configurations to ensure system requirements meet end user needs
-> Act as the single point of contact for systems implementation, and take the system implementation from cradle to grave
-> Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
-> Manage the completion of all project milestones and resolve all issues to make them happen
Requirements:
-> BS in Computer Science or equivalent required, Master's in Finance or Accounting preferred
-> Background in manufacturing is a must
-> Excellent project management skills
-> Demonstrated implementation success with packages such as MS Dynamics GP ( Great Plains ), MS CRM, SharePoint and SQL
-> Advanced knowledge of manufacturing support packages including Process Manufacturing modules (Vicinity Manufacturing or similar), Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (Ivara or similar), Distributed Controls Systems (Yokogawa) and Lab Management Systems
-> Willing to travel extensively
