Responsibilities:
-> Define the system level architecture of new audio / video products, including software, hardware and PCBs / PCBA's
-> Accountable for conceptualizing, planning, defining and implementing the top level functional block design of a new product or system
-> Able to delineate the development of stable, extensible and elegant architecture which is necessary to ensure the long-term functionality and stability of complex software-based or large modular designs
Requirements:
-> A BSCS, BSSE, BSEE or BSEET required, a MS degree a plus
-> At least 5-10 years in hardware and software product development and troubleshooting
-> Be familiar with processing various types of media streams, including digital and audio compression formats
-> Experience understanding and implementing designs based on NTSC, Think ResourcesC, DVB, MPEG and SMPTE standards
-> Be knowledgeable in digital communications methods
-> Experience in audio coding standards
-> Knowledge of DSP design and FPGA implementation experience is a plus
