A growing critical power equipment distributor and service company located in Anaheim, CA is actively searching for a Western USA Regional Sales Executive. This position requires up to 50% overnight travel. Relocation is not available.
Responsibilities:
-> Using your talent and abilities you will sell critical power equipment service contracts for Data Center and Switch Site environmental support equipment including UPS, Batteries, DC Power Plants and Distribution Equipment
-> Educating yourself to maintain a market awareness with respect to competition, new technical advances and procedures and pricing for comparable products
-> Make polished presentations to clients and prospective clients regarding products and services
-> Develop new business opportunities, and create business development initiatives throughout the region
Requirements:
-> Five years of service contract sales experience, with a minimum of three years of UPS (uninterruptible power systems) experience
-> Strong track record of sales management in sales target attainment
-> Demonstrated success in designing and implementing tactical sales initiatives through data and empirical analysis
-> Strong prospecting, needs analysis, negotiating, and closing skills
-> Proven experience managing large accounts, achieving revenue goals, and managing sales strategies
-> An extensive database of appropriate contacts in the Western United States
-> The ability to travel overnight 50% of the time
-> A Bachelors degree is highly preferred, however extensive industry experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
Benefits:
-> Base salary of $70-$85K DOE, plus competitive commission plan
