A leading specialty gas company with a small plant in the Baton Rouge, LA area is actively searching for an experienced Plant Manager with plant turn around experience to bring the facility to the next level.
Responsibilities:
-> Responsible for implementing good management systems and practices that result in turning the plant around and bringing it to the next level
-> Direct and coordinate plant operations within company policies and procedures
-> Maintain a clean and safe plant
-> Establish and direct plant policies and procedures
-> Responsible for plant production goals
-> Foster a well-trained and motivated staff
-> Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of purchasing, production, and shipping
-> Responsible for establishing all shift production schedules
-> Responsible for the product quality control for the plant
Requirements:
-> A Bachelors degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
-> Seven or more years experience with 5 years of Specialty Gas Plant experience
-> Five years of Specialty Gas Plant Management experience
-> Experienced in taking struggling facilities and turning them around
