A leading power engineering company in San Ramon, California, needs an experienced Engineering Manager with High Voltage Substation and Transmission business experience. Relocation and excellent benefits are provided.
Responsibilities:
-> Lead the engineering design and construction unit for high voltage substations, including personnel management, hiring and retaining staff, oversee revenue and profitability
-> Develop and promote business opportunities including marketing the firm to new and existing clients
-> Design high voltage substation, transmission and distribution systems as projects warrant
-> Order materials, and coordinate construction activities
Requirements:
-> BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
-> United States based PE registration
-> 10 to 15 years United States based experience with an Electrical Utility or EPC firm - Not interested in individuals with Petrochemical experience
-> Demonstrated engineering supervisory experience
-> Experience marketing engineering services to clients
-> Excellent communications skills are a MUST
-> United States Citizen or United States Permanent Resident
