Responsibilities:
-> Manage an Electrical and I&C Engineering team of up to 12 engineers and support staff supporting nuclear power plant operations and maintenance
-> Manage engineering and design activities maintaining plant design basis and safety margins and development of engineering requirements for specifications, design criteria, drawings, engineering technical guides, standards, and instructions
-> Advise plant manager on changes to plant operations due to proposed or unanticipated changes in plant operation
-> Maintain the site electrical design basis, plant configuration control, and allocate the design margins on safety-related systems
-> Provide resource management and technical oversight
Requirements:
-> BS Degree in Engineering, A PLUS to have MS Degree in Engineering or a PE Registration
-> Need minimum 10 years overall engineering experience in design, construction, maintenance, and/or operation of a power generating plant including 5 years in commercial nuclear power plant
-> Need 3 years of site engineering management experience with ability to supervise personnel, manage budgets, control projects and schedules
-> Need broad knowledge of associated engineering knowledge to manage multi-discipline engineering team
