Searching for Level 2 or Level 3 Nondestructive Testing Technicians with long range ultrasonic & ultrasonic phased array testing in the Petrochemical industry for positions with a component of a Fortune 500 company.
Responsibilities:
-> Test welds in pressure vessels and other steel fabrications
-> Test continuous process plant components for corrosion and other defects
-> Examine and interpret inspection methods and test results for other personnel
-> apply methods in laboratory situations or at construction sites to investigate the properties of materials, objects and instruments
Requirements:
-> Associates, Undergraduate Degree in a technical subject or equivalent experience
-> 10 years of Nondestructive testing experience in the continuous process industries
-> Must have Guided Wave and Phased Array testing experience
-> Be cognizant of jurisdictional legislation and codes of practice for how this work is to be carried out safely
