Generator specialist needed for this growing OEM power generation provider in Pittsburgh, PA area. Bonus available. Overtime paid at 1.3x.
Responsibilities:
-> This position requires up to 70% travel to customer sites -> Working with teams of field service engineers, technicians, and craft labor personnel in the installation, repair, maintenance and root cause analysis of customer generator equipment -> Review customer contracts and assignment objectives, assist in planning with clients, management, suppliers, and others to meet project schedules -> Prepare and forward accurate reports concerning conditions, actions taken or required, results obtained, maintenance recommendations and repair problems
Requirements:
-> Must have BS Engineering or Technical degree -> Fast Gen experience, including - wedge tightness and EL CID test experience of electrical generators at large utility power plants -> Familiar with electrical testing, such as meggar testing, resistance and capacitance testing -> Stong mechanical skills required (repair and maintenance of robotic carriages) -> Experience with Modal frequency analysis and Frame foot loading -> Good interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written). Requires the coordination and implementation of work schedules to meet project schedules with optimum utilization of human and physical resources
