Company located in North GA has an immediate need for a Plant Engineer with power plant maintenance experience. Combined-cycle power plant experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
-> Assisting plant management in ensuring safe and reliable operation of the equipment at the facility
-> Providing support to develop work-scope for scheduled and non-scheduled outages
-> Development and specification of equipment/material as required to support operations
-> Develop and submit EIA reports
-> Responsible for technical input and occasional oversight of the implementation of processes and equipment used on a daily basis in an operating facility
-> Providing assistance in the development of preventative maintenance and scheduled maintenance activities
Requirements:
-> Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
-> A current PE license is desirable
-> 2-3 years power plant engineering or operational experience
-> must demonstrate good communication, customer service, team work, and leadership skills and be capable of working effectively with project management, peer engineering leads, plant/operations personnel, design firms, and OEMs
