Career opportunity with a growing leading OEM provider to the power industry. Position is located in North Metro Atlanta, GA area. Providing solutions and proposals for Instrumentation, Controls and Electrical application engineering for fossil plants in the electric power industry.
Responsibilities:
-> Must have a clear understanding of the power generation process for large power utility customers in the fossil fuel plant environment
-> Responsible for the timely and effective completion of assigned proposal work load
-> Solutions are specific to combustion turbines, steam turbines, boiler, HRSG and plant DCS
Requirements:
-> Must have BS Engineering or Technical degree
-> A minimum of 6 years of fossil power plant I&C work experience
-> Specific tasks include reviewing customer RFP's, creating solution concept, completing cost calculations, plant walk downs (as needed), and developing the actual proposal document
-> Providing technical support to the sales team during the selling cycle for assigned proposals
-> Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, business acumen, negotiating (internal and external), strong team orientation, and self motivated to produce high quality results within time allocated
-> Up to 20% travel to sites in North America as needed
