A manufacturing company is seeking a Materials Research Scientist/Engineer to work in Pittsburgh, PA
Responsibilities:
-> Design/development of new inorganic and composite products, including bench work -> Project management and a reporting role in Research Priority Committee -> Root cause analysis and project-based technical service to customers -> Consult with customers and representatives on product and application recommendations -> Assist with quality control
Requirements:
-> Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, or Ceramics. Masters preferred -> Minimum 3 years experience in a research development -> Broad experience with ceramic science and materials chemistry -> Ability to design material enhancements to cements and coatings -> Working understanding of laboratory procedures and equipment -> Strong knowledge inorganic and organic chemistry
