A leading global technology company is very actively searching for an experienced Electrical Engineer with a Photovoltaic (PV) Solar project Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) background to work in the role of Project Director of Photovoltaic Systems Programs and be instrumental in a downstream strategy to create end market demand for a Utility Scale PV Module.
Responsibilities:
-> To lead and program manage PV Systems development programs including design and commercialization of mounting structures and electrical system components for Utility Scale Solar projects
-> Individual will manage development activities related to PV Modeling, PV Module Packaging, PV Module system designs
-> This is an essential component to downstream strategy to create end market demand for large PV modules
Requirements:
-> BS/MS EE, ME, Civil Engineering disciplines
-> 10+ years of work experience in high tech sector or construction management
-> Previous work experience in Photovoltaic (PV) Systems design and management
-> Previous experience with Solar Integrators or Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) company
-> Project management/construction management skills and ability to lead cross functional team members of mechanical, electrical, applications, and product marketing engineers. Ideal candidate will have strong program/project management experience understanding and executing development projects
-> Ability to develop and/or continuously improve organizational capability through recruitment, training, and retention of skilled employees
-> Ability to manage large project budgets including materials, human resources, capital equipment and lab facilities
-> Strong interpersonal skills both internally and externally with customers
-> Ability to travel as needed
