A National leader in all areas of Civil and Industrial Electrical Construction is aggressively looking for a High Voltage Electrical Utility Construction Estimator with WIND FARMS AND HIGH VOLTAGE experience to work on high voltage distribution, transmission, and substation hard bids and construction estimates.
Responsibilities:
-> Prepare accurate bids for utility projects involving distribution, transmission lines, and substations
-> Ensure compliance with general and special conditions of bids including, insurance requirements, minority quotas (both contractor and work force) as well as compliance with applicable codes
-> Estimating large utility projects
-> Working on complex, detailed and challenging projects
-> Work closely with administration and marketing to prepare bid submissions
Requirements:
-> A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
-> Five or more years of Estimating Experience required preferably with a construction company
-> Must have experience in distribution, transmission and substation estimating for utility projects
-> Must have lots of experience in Wind Farms and High Voltage
-> Must have done lots of hard bids and/or final bids but not engineering estimates
