A National leader in all areas of Civil and Industrial Construction is aggressively looking for an expert Heavy Civil Construction Estimator with lots of experience in civil estimating in heavy industrial or heavy highway projects and worked with different Department Of Transportation for their heavy highway and rail projects.
Responsibilities:
-> Estimating civil work in heavy industrial or heavy highway projects.
-> Prepare accurate bids for projects involving civil like buildings and structures
-> Ensure compliance with general and special conditions of bids including, insurance requirements, minority quotas (both contractor and work force) as well as compliance with applicable codes
-> Estimating large projects
-> Working on complex, detailed and challenging projects
-> Work closely with administration and marketing to prepare bid submissions
Requirements:
-> A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
-> Estimator experienced in civil estimating in heavy industrial or heavy highway projects
-> Five or more years of hard bid civil estimating experience in heavy industrial or heavy highway with a construction company
-> Must Five years experience working with government agencies such as Department of Transportation and working with different construction companies
-> Must have lots of experience putting together accurate bid proposals for heavy civil and rail projects
-> Must have done lots of highway project estimations
