Updated Salary: Immediate Need: Large Mid-western company is seeking Seeking Control Room Operators with natural gas combined cycle power plant (NGCC, CCGT, CCPP) experience for immediate need as Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Technicians in SE Indiana (near Cincinnati). Must have 5+ years of experience with power plant operations and should have at least 2 years of specific experience as a Control Room Operator of a combined cycle power plant. Instrumentation & controls experience a huge plus. Prefer candidates with experience in CC power plant equipped with GE 7FA gas turbines, GE D11 steam turbines, GE Mark V and Emerson Ovation digital control systems (DCS). . Must have excellent communication skills and able to coordinates activities affecting safe and efficient operation of plant in an often distracting and multitasking environment. Must have ability to provide written reports on unit conditions and operations. Must be able to pass an examination and/or demonstration as determined by the company, and in addition, be able to possess an Indiana state driver?s license. Requires availability for overtime and on-call duties as outline by plant supervision. Work schedule is 12-hour rotating shifts (Dupont) with additional OT.
