Seeking an API 650 Tank Designer for the following locations: LOUISVILLE ( KENTUCKY ), ATLANTA ( GEORGIA ), and HOUSTON ( TEXAS ) to prepare Detailed Design and Fabrication drawings for Field Erected Storage Tanks and Foundations.
One of the Leaders in building innovative, customized Water Tanks, industrial field erected tanks and vertical concrete storage structures throughout North America is aggressively looking for more than one TANK DESIGNERS for the following locations: LOUISVILLE ( KENTUCKY ), ATLANTA ( GEORGIA ), and HOUSTON ( TEXAS ). The qualified Candidate MUST have a minimum of 5 years Experience in The Design of API Tanks & Foundations (API (American Petroleum Institute) Tank experience is required. The qualified Candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed Design and Fabrication Drawings for Field Erected Storage Tanks and Foundations. This Candidate MUST have a Five or more years experience in tank design of API650/620 Field Erected Storage Tanks. In addition he should have experience with the design of API storage tanks with internal/external floating roofs is a requirement. Salary and compensation will commensurate with qualifications and experience. CANDIDATES WITH LOTS OF DESIGN EXPERIENCE in STORAGE FIELD and ERECTED TANK CONSTRUCTION ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO APPLY. Responsibilities:
-> Preparing engineering calculations and designs for API 650/620 Field Erected Storage Tanks
-> Prepare detailed drawing for all phases of shop fabrication and field
-> Prepare support documentation for review such as bills of material
-> Working with Engineering Department to establish project requirements
Requirements:
-> A Bachelors Degree in Engineering a BSME or BSCE a plus
-> A minimum of 5+ years of experience in the design and erection of API 620/650 above ground Steel Tanks
-> Design of API storage tanks with internal/external floating roofs
-> Familiar with API 620/650 field erected carbon and stainless steel tanks
-> Full proficiency in the use of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
-> A PE / EIT registration is preferred
