A leading manufacturer of equipment in the state of New York is actively interviewing for a Electromechanical Designer to design lighting fixtures, develop fabrication details and produce shop detail drawings. This is a permanent position.
Responsibilities:
-> Design light fixtures per customer requirements and in accordance with architectural drawings
-> Develop fabrication details and produce AutoCad Shop Detail Drawing
Requirements:
-> Technical Degree
-> Experience with AutoCAD 3D, version 2000 and later, prefers Autodesk Inventor
-> 2 years experience with manufacturing processes, metal forming is a plus
-> Skills in VB (Visual Basic) and LISP a plus
-> Good knowledge of Architectural Drawings, Electrical Schematics, & Good Shop Practices
-> Must be able to communicate effectively with both the customer and the manufacturing personnel
