Well established and growing power generation company is seeking a Boiler Engineer for a direct hire position south of Buffalo, NY.
Responsibilities:
-> Boiler Engineer is responsible for maintaining boiler reliability, boiler program records, and representing the station in all boiler-related programs and initiatives
-> Provide engineering support for plant operation and maintenance departments
-> Troubleshoot equipment problems, develop and implement solutions on a wide variety of systems
-> Maintain High Energy Piping (HEP) and Flow Accelerated Corrosion (FAC) Programs
-> Provide technical expertise to in-plant personnel on boiler tube failures, repairs, and prevention
Requirements:
-> 12+ years qualifying experience in power plants, or a BS Engineering degree with 6+ years of plant-related exp
-> Electrical utility grade boilers strongly desired
-> DESIRED - Construction Management, Boiler, ASME knowledge, High Energy Piping and Quality Assurance experience
