Client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Lab Technician with experience working with blood and knowledge of blood handling techniques. This is a contract assignment in Minneapolis, MN. Local candidates only.
Responsibilities:
-> You will prepare blood for device testing
-> Set up test circuits, run blood perfusion circuit testing, monitor pressures and flow rates
-> Obtain measurements of blood gases, blood cell counts, etc
-> Enter data obtained from testing in MS Excel
-> Clean up after testing
Requirements:
-> 1-5 years working with Blood in a wetlab setting
-> Knowledge of blood handling techniques and willingness to work with bovine blood for testing
-> A background in Clinical Chemistry / Biology / Biochemistry a plus
-> Prior experience running Assays is a plus
