A global leader and supplier of automated products for laboratory applications is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to develop methods and procedures to improve and maintain product and process quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
-> Test software development and analysis of functionality, scalability, usability and reliability during all phases of the product lifecycle
-> Develop test plans to isolate and identify design defects based on requirement analysis and perform risk assessments and test prioritization
-> Perform internal audits to GSR and ISO requirements, including audit planning and execution, reporting and auditor training
-> Design or specify inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment required to conduct quality assurance tests
-> Develop, establish and maintain QA/QC policies, procedures and methods to QSR and ISO 9001 requirements
-> Develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality standards for process and product development into partially finished or finished product
Requirements:
-> BS Mechanical Engineering degree
-> 9 years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment
-> 5+ years of experience in support of product development and Medical Device manufacturing experience
-> RAPS Certification, CQE, CQA a plus
-> Lean manufacturing or Kaizen experience is desirable
-> Occasional travel, including internationally, is required
-> Microsoft office products and Visio tools experience
