Hiring immediately! Fortune 200 Company located in Louisiana is seeking candidates for a their Principle Electrical Engineer position. This is a full time position for a client involved in the design, production and support of advanced marine craft and combat vehicles.
Responsibilities:
-> You will be responsible for the design and analysis of light weight APU installations and power distribution systems, as well as control, power distribution, and junction box panels
-> Oversee mid and junior level engineers while they perform standard calculations and oversight of draftsmen who prepare drawings for electrical power and distribution system installations
-> Prepare technical material for USN Requests for Proposals
Requirements:
-> Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
-> Experience with one of more CAD packages
-> Excellent communication skills, particularly in technical writing and presentations
-> Must have knowledge of USCG, USN and ABS requirements for marine electrical systems required
-> Ability to interface with customers and vendors
-> Problem solving skills requiring integration of concepts and creative thought
-> Some travel in the Continental US
-> Ability to obtain a Military Security Clearance
-> Must have a Bachelors Degree in Marine Engineering, with 8 -11 years experience
-> Experience with high speed marine craft
-> Experience in Power Generation developing and distribution
