A global consulting organization which serves the power utility industry is seeking an applied mechanics engineer with 3-6 years analysis exp using LS-DYNA. Candidate will be a member of a team and originate or check structural, thermal, dynamic impact and CFD analyses of large mechanical systems. Candidate must have a strong command of structural dynamics.
Responsibilities:
-> Pre and post processing of analytical models
-> Performing non-linear dynamic analyses using finite element solvers such as LS-DYNA
Requirements:
-> MS in Mechanical or Structural Engineering preferred
-> Strong command of structural dynamics
-> 3 - 6 years of experience in computer aided engineering using LS-DYNA
-> Knowledge and experience in pre and post processing of analytical models and presenting the results in an organized and logical manner
-> Specific exp with ASME B&PV Section III code is desired
