A leading utility located in the North Eastern USA is searching for an experienced General Manager for their Electrical Distribution Division. In this role you will plan, direct, control and coordinate construction, maintenance and restoration of the electrical distribution system.
Responsibilities:
-> Develops long and short term plans, goals and objectives to improve the performance and reliability of the electrical distribution system
-> Establishes priorities and evaluates the results of engineering, construction, maintenance and restoration of the electrical distribution system
-> Develops and implements capital, operation and human resource budgets
-> Ensures the implementation and administration of company policies, programs, and procedures
-> Enforce compliance with Equal Opportunity policies and programs
-> Regulates and enforces compliance to safety procedures
-> Ensures environmental compliance
-> Assures customer reliability by evaluating Capital Improvements, Maintenance, Restoration, and Substation Enhancements
-> Manages 8 direct and 120 indirect managers
Requirements:
-> Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
-> Ten or more years Extensive experience in Management/ Supervisory roles showing increasing responsibility for direct and indirect reports of 150 or more employees
-> Ten or more years experience in the electrical power distribution industry
-> Ten or more years experience in Electrical Engineering
