International manufacturing company with operations in the United States has immediate need for a Mechanical Design Engineer for its plant in New Jersey. The successful candidate will do modifications and re-designs to existing equipment and also designs for new equipment.
Responsibilities:
-> Do modifications and re-designs to existing equipment and also for new equipment
-> Work on existing or new projects on cold-end equipment used in glass manufacture
-> Collaborate with management on planning and implementing equipment upgrades
-> You will use current and new drawings to upgrade production lines
Requirements:
-> At least five years experience as a mechanical engineer, with preference for ten years or more experience
-> Hands On person, able to work with everyone on the team, from floor personnel to senior management
-> Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required
-> Familiarity with AutoCAD - experience with 3D is helpful
-> Preference for glass industry experience
-> Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
