Great growth potential: Immediate contract need with potential for permanent positions available for a Senior Instrumentation and Control Design Engineers with design experience of I&C systems including DCS for power plants. This is a contract position with the opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate. Living allowance will be considered along with temporary living quarters. Responsibilities:
-> Responsibilities will include testing hardware or software for specific applications for safety I&C
-> Responsible for conduit routing, wiring diagrams, schematics design, power systems, etc
-> Responsible for writing test procedures of the SW and HW design, testing of the SW and HW before delivery, and supervision of installation and commissioning of I&C
-> Responsible for writing procedures for digital I&C, engineering of I&C systems in Power Plants, and I&C commissioning in Power Plant
Requirements:
-> BSEE or MSEE and a minimum of 10 years experience
-> Requires I&C systems design of DCS such as Ovation and comparable systems for nuclear, fossil, gas, coal power plants
-> Experience must include P & ID s as related to instrumentation issues, process system descriptions, control communication network diagrams, and process elementary diagrams
-> Experience will include process wiring and cabling diagrams, process instrumentation specifications, and one line diagrams as related to control issues
-> Experience with SAMA and Boolean logic diagrams should also be included
-> Experience should include basic knowledge in power distribution including high (220V and less) and low voltage systems, electronic control systems, etc. and/or Instrumentation & Controls (I&C), including commissioning and installation
-> Experience in Knowledge of digital I&C, of I&C design engineering of Power Plants, writing test procedures, and testing I&C equipment
