IMMEDIATE NEED for an Electrical Designer currently living in the Atlanta, GA area. This position is responsible for performing as-builts and electrical design on retrofit projects at fossil fired generating plants in the Southeast. Travel to the plants is required. This CONTRACT Position is scheduled to last 3 months with an option to renew. To have your resume Immediately considered by the Hiring Manager you will need to answer all of the questions when you apply.
Responsibilities:
-> Perform as-builts and electrical design on retrofit projects at fossil fired generating plants
-> Design power plant electrical system
-> Equipment arrangements and cable tray/conduit layout
-> Cable Bus sizing and routing, cable sizing, voltage drop and raceway fill
-> Control panel layout and wiring
-> Travel to the plants as required
Requirements:
-> 10 years of Electrical Design experience in Power Plant. May consider Paper Mill, Steel Mill, or similar industry
-> Detailed knowledge of design principles (preferably power plant electrical system design)
-> Extensive experience with AutoCAD 2D and AutoCAD Overlay
