An Engineering Consulting Firm specializing in MEP ( Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing ) Engineering, for Healthcare, Institutional, Educational and Commercial clients is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Designer in the Pittsburgh, PA area.
Responsibilities:
-> Design power, lighting and fire alarm systems for building types ranging from hospitals and institutions to steel mills, schools, and office buildings -> Power Distribution: Medium and low voltage systems, including emergency power systems with emergency generators and/or uninterruptible power supplies -> Lighting Systems: Building lighting as well as site lighting, including energy efficient lighting systems meeting the most recent requirements of ASHRAE 90.1 -> Fire Alarm Systems -> Nurse Call Systems -> Security Systems -> Telecommunications Systems -> Engineering Studies: Fault protection, short circuit analyses, feasibility studies, cost analyses
Requirements:
-> 10 to 15 years of Electrical Design Experience -> Extensive experience with Healthcare and Institutional Projects -> AutoCAD Experience -> Must be local to Pittsburgh, PA
