A company in Northern NY is looking for a Lead Mechanical Test Engineer.
Responsibilities:
-> Lead mechanical testing operations for a growing commercial materials testing and analysis laboratory
-> Consult with clients to understand requirements and define responsive testing programs
-> Provide coordination and technical direction to a team of test engineers and technicians, including personally conducting tests as required
-> Ensure all quality requirements are fulfilled for mechanical and electrical testing operations, including procedures, calibrations, and training
Requirements:
-> Engineering degree in materials, mechanical or metallurgical engineering
-> Background in both metallic and non-metallic materials
-> Background/knowledge of electrical engineering and testing a plus
-> Minimum of five years experience in an industrial laboratory or testing environment
-> Proven experience in successfully leading technical activities in a team environment. Supervisory experience a plus
-> Only U.S. citizens or permanent residents will be considered
