Great opportunity with a well established company working out of their Houston, TX location for a Boiler Application Control Engineer to work with existing power plant control systems converting old logic into the new version of logic. Position will involve some travel (10% or less). Great benefits and relocation is available. Salary is approximated so all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
-> Take existing power plant control systems and convert the old logic to the new version of logic
-> Writing logic in SAMA and Boolean format
-> Live and work in Houston and travel approximately 10% or less regionally
Requirements:
-> BSME, BSEE, BSCE or related experience
-> 6 to 10 or more years applicable industry experience
-> Must be proficient in understanding and writing in SAMA and Boolean format
-> Company will train on the features of their DCS, but you must be good in SAMA / Boiler control on day one
