Industry leader in wire products seeks a skilled Plant Controller in North East Ohio ( Akron / Canton area). The selected Controller must have at least 5 years of experience cost accounting experience. Local candidates preferred. Apply now for consideration.
Responsibilities:
-> Manage and carry out all aspects in Cost Accounting, Cost Controlling and Financial Reporting in the plant to enhance system and procedures
-> Create the following reports: Balance Sheet, Profit & Lost Statement, Cash Flow and Investment Reports
-> Analyze manufacturing cost, prepare monthly reports which compare actual costs to budgeted production cost
-> Work closely with Manufacturing Management in preparing quarterly and annual budget
-> Coordinate sales forecast monthly to assist production in making decision to improve efficiency. Manufacture variance report and analysis.
Requirements:
-> Bachelor Degree in Finance / Accounting / Engineering
-> A minimum 5 years experience as cost accounting / controller
-> Fluent in English both speaking and written
-> Cost accounting and operations experience in a plant environment
-> Good team player, service and results oriented, work systematically and good with details
-> Able to work under pressure and meet the required deadlines
-> Able to operate Microsoft Office and some knowledge in SAP
