The largest independent manufacturer of high voltage generators in the world providing energy solutions to the Utility, Industrial , Marine, Oil and Gas and Hydro sector world wide will be interviewing for two AFTERMARKET SALES ENGINEERS. Salary range is $70-90k/yr TOTAL compensation.
Responsibilities:
-> Support the client?s Aftermarket Management in developing the Companies Aftermarket (Parts & Service) business
-> Develop effective project campaigns & plans for customers and target project opportunities
-> Initiate Pro-active sales activity in the designated territory and promote the sales of spare parts
-> Negotiate and gain contracts for aftermarket products and services
-> Presentation of OEM parts, maintenance and major service proposals to operators, engineers and fleet management of electric power facilities
Requirements:
-> Must be knowledgeable of large rotating industrial machines, along with supporting control/instrumentation and protection support systems ? preferably electrical generating plant
-> Must have experience in calling on major utility and independent power producer clients including operating plant engineers and fleet management
-> Have a good understanding of service practices including both electrical rewind and mechanical repair activities
-> Spanish ( or Portuguese) as a second language is a requirement, as travel includes the US, Canada and Central and South America
-> This position will require at least 70% travel time
