A US Department of Energy Contractor an immediate need for a Control Systems Electrical Engineer to work on an energy research project near Trenton, NJ. In this position you will contribute in a technical lead/project management role, but also as a hands-on participant working with distributed processors interconnected by high speed data links executing real-time control and protection
Responsibilities:
-> Design, procure, install and commission new systems -> Analyze upgrade and troubleshoot existing systems -> Supervision of day-to-day activities of technical support staff -> Develop project requirements, manage cost and schedule -> Interface effectively with a wide range of scientific and technical personnel
Requirements:
-> Minimum of 10 years of experience in the design and deployment of state-of-the-art electronics control and protection systems associated with large scale scientific research or industrial facilities -> Experience in analog and digital circuit design, schematic development, PC board layout and fabrication, embedded software design, system commissioning and troubleshooting -> Excellent leadership and communication skills -> Experience managing small projects, and ability to supervise technical staff -> BSEE, advanced degree preferred
