An environmental company in Eastern Pennsylvania is in search for a Project Manger - Air Monitoring & Testing for a direct hire position. This is a great opportunity to work for an industry leader.
Responsibilities:
-> Conduct, oversee or delegate all technical, financial and administrative aspects of stationary source, ambient air pollution monitoring and testing programs
-> Complete the scope of the Field Team Leader job description for assigned projects
-> Upon award of project, identify test parameters from the assigned objective or scope of work. Alternatively, determine scope of work through client or regulatory interaction
-> Coordinate outside laboratories and/or sub-contractors for each project, if needed
-> Review and confirm there are no special or unusual health hazards associated with specific source. Address safety concerns as needed
-> Schedule work with Operations Manager or Quality Assurance Manager/Technical Director
-> Directly responsible to oversee, assist with and / or conduct required data reduction and test report preparation within the applicable timeline required by the client or regulator
-> Respond to customer request for technical guidance on testing or monitoring requirements, after review with senior management
-> Prepare cost quotations / proposals
Requirements:
-> Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline and/or 4-6 years of experience in conducting stationary source monitoring/testing. Direct testing experience can be substituted for educational background
-> Thorough understanding of all EPA test methods and pass SES accreditation exams for Groups I, III and IV)
-> Be proficient in at least two areas of source testing expertise. (Trailer operation, Method 25, Mercury, VOST, Dioxins, Metals)
-> Computer proficient in Microsoft excel, word and data acquisition systems
-> Willingness to travel
-> General knowledge of air quality regulations
