Material science and process engineering company has a contract to permanent position for an Electro-Optical Engineer in southern NH.
Responsibilities:
-> Support the growing optical system design and production business which entails design, prototyping, debugging and field support of electro-optics
-> Support prototype build and field integration but may later be required for production support for non-routine problem solving
-> Work with the System Engineers to develop test plans, procedures and setups and performs testing on optical systems
Requirements:
-> Minimum of an Associates Degree in an appropriate field (electronics, optics, etc.) is required
-> Good knowledge of Optical test equipment and procedures (e.g., interferometers and related optical metrology equipment)
-> Ability to read electrical schematics and debug
-> Experience with Opto-mechanical assembly
