Client located in New York City has a requirement for a Supervisor to oversee the work activities of Track Maintenance personnel in their performing preventive maintenance and repair of mainline and yard track, special track work, tunnels reactino rail power rail, walkways and fencing.
Responsibilities:
-> Supervise preventive maintenance and repair of main line and yard tracks, along with switch machines tunnels, structure, reaction rails power rails drainage, walkways and fencing
-> Develop work schedules for all Track Maintenance Personnel
-> Responsible that all repairs are in compliance with safety regulations and safe work practices and ensure completed work meets safety and quality control standards
-> Train and evaluate Track Maintenance Personnel to achieve the highest quality of work with the safest work practices
-> Maintain accurate and correct records of daily work and input into tracking system
Requirements:
-> 5 years experience in track maintenance
-> 4 years of Supervisory experience
-> High School Diploma or equivalent
-> Knowledgeable in use of common computer software such as Excel, PowerPoint etc
