Client located in Jamaica, NY has a requirement for a Materials Supervisor that will manage and will be responsible for the complete inventory function, including ordering, receiving, tracking and physical counts.
Responsibilities:
-> Responsible for Shipping & Receiving and the management of the Inventory Function
-> Inventory Function includes ordering, receiving, tracking and physical counts
-> Shipping & Receiving includes packaging, receiving inspections, material distribution and HAZ materials management
-> Accurate Inventory Management through efficient daily cycle count procedures, tracking of vendor returns and good receiving procedures
-> Maintain accurate records of audits, counts, adjustments and receiving
Requirements:
-> 5 years experience with inventory / shipping management
-> Work experience in a technical or industrial environment is a plus
-> Supervisory experience is a plus
-> An Associates Degree required as a minimum, Bachelors degree preferred
-> Must be knowledgeable of and be able to demonstrate tracking, trending, and data analysis techniques
-> Knowledgeable in use of common computer software such as Excel, PowerPoint etc
