Seeking a Petroleum (or equivalent degreed engineer) Engineer for a key hands-on Manager/Engineer combo role for oil recovery and upstream facilities with a key petroleum exploration and production company. Location is South Central California.
Responsibilities:
-> Hands-on and field engineering of all aspects of downhole oil recovery/production
-> Hands-on and field engineering of upstream Facilities
-> Assist in optimizing and improving downhole production and producing reservoirs
-> Assist in optimizing and improving upstream tanks, pipelines and related facilities
Requirements:
-> BS in Engineering, preferably Petroleum Engineering
-> 10 years experience in oilfield production and upstream facilities engineering
-> SAGD, tar sands and shale oil recovery methods experience a plus
-> San Joaquin Valley, Ventura and related California oilfield experience a plus
-> 50% travel (production and field facilities)
