A power equipment manufacturer has an immediate opening for a Program Manager for a temp to hire position in the Orange County, CA area. This is a great opportunity to get in door with a great company!
Responsibilities:
-> You will provide overall direction and management to specific development and production contracts and internal programs of the company
-> You will be responsible for program budgets, cost reporting, coordination of resources, customer interface under minimal supervision
-> Manages and directs, with full authority, all phases of a program from inception to completion
-> Establishes and monitors master plans and schedules
-> Coordinates proposal preparation and negotiation
-> Oversees the development of design concepts and test criteria
-> Directs the integration of the program team, which may include: Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Administrative areas
-> Responsible for program P&L including but not limited to: Budgets, Actual Costs, Estimates to complete, Invoicing, and Receivables
Requirements:
-> BS or BA required. Minimum 5 years experience with over $1 Million program responsibilities
-> MUST have experience managing ALL phases of programs (i.e. development phase transition to actual production)
-> Technical exposure to power electronics and experience with navy customers is strongly desired
-> Good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to interface with engineering, manufacturing and management personnel
-> Experience with Navy customers/products/programs desired
-> Secret clearance (active or inactive) desired
