Immediate Need in the Greater Atlanta,area for a Quality Field Engineer. . This is a contract opportunity expected to last 9+ months. Great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a global leader in the Aerospace industry. All local qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
-> Plans, organizes, directs on all supplier quality related activities to assure fulfillment of contract/purchase order requirements
-> Assures that customer quality imposed requirements are adhered to by supplier and that a quality system is maintained
-> Reviews quality assurance procedures, corrective action reports and purchase orders in order to reduce /eliminate supplier product defects
-> May audit suppliers for compliance to their Quality system
Requirements:
-> Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Applied Science or equivalent experience
-> Work experience/knowledge/inspection of printed wiring boards, hybrid processing and laser optics are desired
-> Must be familiar with (ESD) Electronic Static Discharge and (FOD) Foreign Object Debris procedures, AS9100, AS9001, AS9002, related IPC and Mil-STD specifications
-> Also, must have good communication, inspection and blue print/3D Model skills
-> Extensive travel required to supplier sites in area
