A dynamic company concentrating on new and established technologies for operations in space, is actively seeking a Contract Manager, for their location in the Houston, TX area.
Responsibilities:
-> Manage and administer prime contracts and all related subcontracts
-> Ensure all contracts are carried out in full compliance with the FAR and the company standards
-> Negotiate with NASA and subcontractors, while working closely with them on all contract matters
-> Manage, supervise and help ensure the quality of the activities of a small team of subcontract managers
Requirements:
-> Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Science or equivalent. Masters Degree in Business Administration preferred
-> 3-5 years experience in the contracts/subcontracts administration field
-> Current understanding of, and experience with FAR and NASA FAR Supplement, and negotiating and administering complex federal government contracts
-> Strong oral and written skills required
