Great contract job opportunity in Fort Wayne, IN for a Design Engineer with Unigraphics & automotive interior plastics experience!!. A very convenient location that is close to all.
Responsibilities:
-> Create drawings, layouts and 3-D models using UG NX-4 or above
-> Extract layout data and use skills in computer aided engineering and analysis to apply engineering theory to system designs and define problem assumptions, boundary conditions, and design requirements
-> Mentor and lead lower classification Engineers and Designers in design guidance, project documentation, adherence to established drawing and performance standards
-> Participate in and lead project and design reviews
-> Responsible for the project design integrity including supporting the project through production launch / This includes all Quality, Cost & Delivery (QCD) goals at the engineering level
Requirements:
-> 3D Cad UG NX4+
-> Experience leading 8d & dFMEA is Required
-> ME Degree is Required
-> 5+ years experience w/ automotive interior plastics is Required
-> Excellent communication skills and a positive team attitude is a must
