IMMEDIATE NEED! APPLY FOR IMMEDIATE CONSIDERATION. Safety and security solutions provider seeks a skilled Design Engineer with Low Voltage Certification in the Atlanta Metro area. This is a contract position lasting one year. Competitive hourly rate, benefits and mileage reimbursement are available. Must be available immediately, and have experience with Access Control Systems Design and Project management LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY!
Responsibilities:
-> Lead physical security system design consisting of access control, cctv, fire, and intrusion alarm and intercom
-> Review construction blueprints and perform design take?offs of architectural plans for electronic security systems, technology infrastructures, and low voltage systems
-> Establish reports from site assessments for final security solution and design
-> Develops technical specification and RFP?s for all physical security and low voltage systems
-> Assist in determining project scope, writing solicitation documentation, contracting electronic security vendors, and inspecting and verifying vendor deliverables against awarded contracts
-> Travel to client sites as needed (within Atlanta metro area) to host security pre?bid meetings
-> Lead analysis of reported failures of physical security systems; evaluate and propose recommendations for design, component, and corrective maintenance changes
Requirements:
-> Available for immediate hire and ability to pass a federal background check
-> Experience in CCTV and Access Control Systems Design and Project management (5 years in related field and 3 years in security or life safety devices)
-> Low Voltage Certification and experience with design of low voltage systems is a must. BICSI preferred
-> Bachelors degree
-> Subject matter expertise in security design industry with proven hands?on experience
-> Experience managing large?scale Electronic Security System projects and engineering complex systems
-> Ability to read and interpret design specification and technical drawings
-> Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with client focus
-> Ability to plan and meet deadlines and handle multiple projects
